Precautionary Boil Water Advisory Rescinded, Airport Road

Please be advised that the precautionary boil water advisory issued on May 15, has been rescinded as of Saturday, May 18 at 1:00 p.m. for customers from 1052 Airport Road to the Jones Road intersection and continuing from there to Weyerhaeuser.
Laboratory testing of the water supply does not indicate the presence of bacteria.
We thank our water service customers for their patience during this water advisory.
Unidirectional Flushing Program

Please be advised that Velocity Water Services Inc. will be performing a Unidirectional Flushing Program on the City of Kenora watermain system over the next six to eight weeks, beginning on Monday, May 27.
Flushing will take place in the area outlined in red on the map below.
During the flushing process, there should be no interruptions to water service. Common and temporary effects of the flushing process include a slight drop in water pressure and discoloured water.

Please be advised that due to pressure loss, a Precautionary Boil Water Advisory has been issued to water services customers from 1052 Airport Road to the Jones Road intersection and continuing from there to Weyerhaeuser, consuming water from the City of Kenora Water Distribution System.
This Precautionary Boil Water Advisory comes into effect today, Wednesday, May 15, 2024.

Grading and Paving Works Moncrief Construction Sports Centre

Please be advised that Titan Contractors (Kenora) Ltd. will be performing grading and paving works at the Moncrief Construction Sports Centre parking lot on Wednesday, May 15, and Thursday, May 16.
The east boat launch will be closed and a portion of the parking lot will be closed.
The west boat launch will remain open, with ample parking available to users.

Ninth Street North Boulevard Paving

Please be advised that the boulevard on Ninth Street North from Scramble Avenue to Houghton Road will be paved on Tuesday, May 14, beginning at 7:00 a.m.
Traffic control will be in place with flagging during paving operations.
